The RQRA considers the measure to be inconsistent with the reality of private seniors’ residences (RPAs).
ContinueQUEBEC CITY, March 25, 2025 /CNW/ – While the RQRA thanks the Quebec government for taking the time to assess its requests to support seniors with a loss of autonomy who have chosen to live in private seniors’ residences (RPAs), the association fears that the two measures announced in the 2025–2026 budget will be insufficient to prevent resident relocations caused by further closures or the discontinuation of care services by several RPAs, particularly in the regions.
